LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Architect: AC Martin

This upscale, world-class, 73-story skyscraper is in the heart of Los Angeles. It is the tallest structure in the Los Angeles skyline and features an 889-room hotel, cutting-edge restaurants, and a state-of-the-art office complex. This project received the 2013 Architectural Award of Excellence by the Los Angeles Business Council as well as the 2014 American Architecture Award from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

WILSHIRE GRAND CENTER

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Architect: Gensler

This contemporary art museum is a 120,000 square foot space, featuring a honeycomb like facade with views to the street. e design’s concept is “veil and vault” to merge the collection storage and public exhibition space. e Broad encompasses an acre of column free cave like gallery space with twenty-four foot ceilings in the two story structure. A lecture hall, museum shop and garage are also included. A LEED Gold certification was awarded to the project for water efficiency, energy & atmosphere, material & resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation.

THE BROAD MUSEUM

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

Architect: Handel 

This 470,000 square foot, 283 unit luxury residential tower features four crystalline quadrants that illuminate at night. With floor to ceiling views all the way to the Pacific ocean, the tower offers two and three bedroom residences and 75,000 square feet of indoor & outdoor amenities. These include a pool, spa, fitness center, private screening room, boardrooms, children’s studio, game room, lounge, garages, tennis court, private park and dog run. This project is LEED gold certified.

TEN THOUSAND

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

Architect: Cannon Design 

This 245-bed medical facility specializes in advanced surgery, cancer treatment, as well as women and infants care. The 10-story, 509,500 square feet building has floor to ceiling windows to enhance natural lighting and promote healing.  There are outdoor areas that include terraces and courtyards. Family areas on the inpatient floors with kitchenettes and lounges. The medical center has a low-carbon footprint equivalent to LEED silver certification.  The project was completed in 2016.

JACOBS MEDICAL CENTER
Kaiser Permanente - San Diego Medical Ce

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

 

The new Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center opened to patients today. The 7-story, 617,000 square-foot hospital will provide care to more than 610,000 Kaiser Permanente members in San Diego.Designed for cleaner, greener energy, the new hospital uses cutting-edge technologies to produce its own electricity, heat and cooling, create less greenhouse gases and save water. These innovations have earned the San Diego Medical Center certification as a LEED Platinum health care facility. The San Diego Medical Center also offers several areas specifically designed for respite, including more than 2 miles of landscaped walking paths in the healing garden and a meditation room.
